Alright, well, this is my new video game blog. After doing a little video game writing elsewhere, I've decided to start my own blog on video games. This way I can control the content and decide what to write about and so on. I'm still really planning what exactly I'm going to post on this blog, but I expect to eventually have everything from reviews to impressions of games I've played and seen to my thoughts on recent news and events in the industry. I might also occasionally talk about something not video game related, but I'm not sure yet. Also, I just started this blog so it is very much a work in progress. It's a little plain, but I hope to add more to my profile and layout over the coming days and weeks as I get started.
I'm also going to just talk a bit about my gaming tastes for a moment so you can get an idea of what I play. My favorite game series is the Jak and Daxter series with Jak 3 being my favorite game ever (though picking my favorite game ever is quite tricky). Other series I really like include Ratchet & Clank, Prince of Persia, Mario platformers, Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda, NCAA Football, and Ninja Gaiden. Some other games that aren't quite series yet or are just one-off titles that I really liked are Uncharted and Okami. My favorite genres are third-person action/adventures or action/platformers, but I play all kinds of games like first/third-person shooters, sports games, racing games, and puzzle games. I'm also very open to playing just about anything.
Well, anywho, that's all I'll say for right now. Hopefully, I'll be back on soon with more posts. I'm expecting to do some upcoming posts on my thoughts on the new Prince of Persia, my most anticipated games of 2008, and my impressions of some demos I've played recently (probably Secret Agent Clank which I've played and hopefully Ninja Gaiden 2 if Microsoft puts the demo up and I iron out my 360 issues).
